Meet & Greet/New Student Orientation

PTO will be there with Picco merch!

Our Meet & Greet/Orientation will take place on Friday, August 21st, 9:00 am to 11:00 am. This event is for incoming 6th grade students and any students new to Piccowaxen. This is an opportunity for our 6th graders and other new students to introduce themselves to their teachers, test their lockers, and to get acclimated to their new school. The transition from elementary to middle school can be overwhelming. While we’re excited to see our returning students, we respectfully ask that you return on the first day of school, August 24th, to allow our incoming 6th graders the opportunity to navigate their new learning space.

Open House—Mark Your Calendar

Our Open House will take place on Thursday, October 8, from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. Families of all students will have an opportunity to experience a more detailed perspective of students’ school day, behavioral expectations, curricular information, and school-wide initiatives.

Middle school has been filled with lessons learned, friendships made, challenges overcome, and memories that will last a lifetime. Volunteers and donations needed for the PBIS Testing event!
