I was able to mix in some stations/small groups earlier this week and the kids did AMAZING! So proud of the work they are putting in already!!

My students decided they wanted to do a Secret Santa gift exchange. They planned everything on their own, they even made a list of their “likes” during morning meeting. I loved seeing their thoughtfulness come to fruition! Building a classroom community is so important! Although we definitely have our moments, I am so proud of how they came together and loved each other so well♥️

Ugly Christmas sweater day last week!

I want to give a HUGE thank you to for giving my 5th graders such an awesome experience! ♥️

My amazing husband, Mike Norris, and a crew at Jenkins Kia 🚘 brought my entire class pumpkins to paint! They set everything up and made sure the kids had everything they needed to paint their pumpkin! 🎨

They even brought my students huge goodie bags full of candy 🍭and “Turbo,” Kia’s hamster mascot!

🧡🖤Three pumpkins were selected as the winners, and those three students received Dave & Busters gift cards!

Being a kid is hard, being a kid during these times is even harder. The more people they have in their corner, the better! Having people from the community come in and become another person for these kids is priceless!

A special thank you to the two awesome ladies, Christine and Mariah, who came out and handled our craziness 😜 with nothing but smiles!💯
