This week we traveled to North Carolina and learned about The Wright Brothers. They learned about the first flight and how they worked to accomplish this goal.

Today’s challenge: make your paper airplane fly the farthest. They got the chance to fly it and see if they could modify it to make it better.

Lots of smiles during this activity!

The results are in! A HUGE thank you to every family and staff member who joined the NCS PTO during our Membership Drive! Every $10 membership goes right back into supporting our students, teachers, and school. 🐾

And now… the moment we’ve been waiting for!

Kindergarten: Ms. Davis
1st Grade: Ms. Douglas
2nd Grade: Ms. Hastings
3rd Grade: Ms. Register
4th Grade: Ms. Green

These classes had the highest PTO membership participation in their grade and have earned a CLASS PARTY!
