KidWorks Preschool is accepting applications for Assistant Director. The Assistant Director works in lock-step with the Director in the day-to-day operation of the school and must be able to fulfill a variety of roles to support the staff, give breaks, tend to sick or injured children, help kitchen staff prepare meals or snacks, be responsible for administrative duties, interact with parents in person and by phone, cover classes when circumstances dictate, and be the school’s in-charge at times when the Director is away from the center.

The Assistant Director position requires someone who is reliable, high energy, a self-starter, flexible both in their available hours and general work schedule, and is able to prioritize and change gears on the fly as business needs dictate.

A candidate should be highly experienced in commercial preschool settings as a teacher with a variety of age groups, and/or have prior experience as an Assistant Director. A CDA or Director’s Credential is preferred but not required. If you do not have your Director’s Credential, KidWorks may pay for your training to obtain a Credential.

Starting pay is $20/hr FT and child care for one child age 2 or older will be provided at no charge. Benefits include free Dental/Vision/Life Insurance, a 401k Retirement Plan with company match, subsidized Blue Cross Blue Shield Health Insurance, two weeks PTO per year and paid Holidays.

Hi Guys,
KidWorks is hiring FT and PT Teachers and Aides now for Fall at both locations. We have solid COVID protocols in place including screening stations staffed by nurses, and we've installed $10,000 worth of UV Air Purifiers in all of our AC systems. To date we have not had a COVID exposure in our schools (me: knocking on wood).
During our recent closure for April and May all of our FT staff received their full pay and avoided having to deal with Florida's unemployment website nightmare. We take care of our people.
