Our very first day of school at Newberry Christian Academy is officially in the books! 💙💛

Today was filled with learning, laughter, playtime, new routines, and plenty of sweet memories. From our youngest Patriots building and playing together to our older students getting settled into their work, it was such a blessing to see every classroom come to life.

We are so thankful for the families who have trusted us with their children and for every person who worked so hard to make this day possible. This is only the beginning, and we cannot wait to see what God has in store for NCA this year!

Newberry Christian Academy begins a brand-new school year THIS MONDAY, and we are so excited to welcome our students back!

Our classrooms are coming together, our teachers are preparing, and we cannot wait to see what God has in store for NCA this year.

Newberry Christian Academy is back in session August 24th! 📚✏️

Backpacks are getting packed, uniforms are getting ready, and it’s time to start settling back into those school-year routines.

But we’re preparing for more than just the first day of school.

We’re preparing for another year of growing in faith, building character, and striving for excellence in everything we do.

Parents, now is the perfect time to start those earlier bedtimes, morning routines, and nightly backpack checks. And students, get ready because a brand-new year of learning, friendships, challenges, and opportunities is waiting for you!

💙 MEET Mrs. GIN 💙
K2 Teacher

Newberry Christian Academy is excited to introduce Mrs. Gin, our K2 Teacher!

Mrs. Gin is a graduate of Waterford Township High School and holds certificates in Early Childhood Education. She brings more than 10 years of experience in preschool and daycare settings, along with two years of experience working with children with special needs and disabilities.

Her experience has given her a strong understanding of the importance of patience, encouragement, and meeting young children where they are as they learn and grow.

We are excited to have Mrs. Gin caring for and teaching some of our youngest students while helping them build a strong foundation for the years ahead at NCA! 💙💛

💙 MEET KODY McKELVEY 💙
Director of Athletics & Fine Arts

Newberry Christian Academy is excited to introduce Kody McKelvey as our Director of Athletics & Fine Arts!

Kody is a 2015 graduate of NCA and began her career in the fire service in 2017. She is a graduate of the South Carolina State Fire Officer Academy and continues to serve with the Belmont Fire Department, bringing valuable experience in leadership, training, teamwork, and public service.

At NCA, Kody is passionate about growing our athletics and fine arts programs while helping students discover their talents, build confidence, develop character, and understand the value of teamwork and perseverance.

Her Christian faith and family are at the heart of who she is, and we are excited to have her investing in the next generation of NCA students! 💙💛

💙 Meet Our Upper School Teacher Assistant, Jennifer! 💙

We are excited to introduce Jennifer as our Upper School Teacher Assistant at Newberry Christian Academy!

Jennifer has dedicated much of her life to serving children and families. She began teaching alongside her grandfather in children’s ministry at just 16 years old, laying the foundation for a lifelong passion for education and service.

She holds an Associate Degree in Business and spent seven years working in a daycare, where she helped care for and nurture young children during some of their most formative years. Jennifer also served as a substitute teacher for Newberry County Schools before returning to her alma mater, Newberry Christian Academy.

As our Upper School Teacher Assistant, Jennifer will work alongside our teachers to support students academically while helping foster a Christ-centered learning environment where they can grow in both knowledge and faith.

We are grateful to welcome Jennifer home and look forward to the impact she will have on our students. Please join us in giving her a warm Newberry Christian Academy welcome! 💙📚
