I DIDN’T CREATE BUDGETEE BECAUSE I WANTED ANOTHER BUDGET. I CREATED IT BECAUSE I NEEDED A SYSTEM.
Let me be transparent about where BudgeTee came from.
In 2022, I made a decision that completely changed how I handled my money.
I decided I was going to pay myself first.
But I wasn't willing to do that at the expense of my bills.
I didn't want to pay myself first and then have bills paid late, accounts falling behind, or financial stress waiting for me at the end of the month.
So I challenged myself to figure out a better way.
I created a financial system that allowed me to:
💰 Pay myself first
📆 Pay my bills in full
⏰ Pay bills months ahead
💵 Build financial breathing room
🔄 Adjust when my income or expenses changed
And the discipline behind that system became the foundation of BudgeTee.
The important part?
That system is STILL in effect today.
It wasn't a temporary challenge. It wasn't something that worked for one month and disappeared.
It became a way of managing my money.
And because life changes, the system was designed to adjust with me.
That's why I'm so passionate about BudgeTee.
Because I know what it's like to look at your money and wonder:
"How am I supposed to get ahead when everything needs to be paid first?"
I don't believe the answer is simply "make more money."
Sometimes, we need a better system for the money we already have.
