We are child-centered and inspired by - but not bound to - Waldorf and Montessori curriculums. Our visionary curriculum is a blend of Montessori and Waldorf with influences from Forest School, Reggio Emilia, and Charlotte Mason pedagogies. We have two certified teachers on staff who are ready to meet your child's educational needs. Students meet 2-3 times per week, depending on their age, for 1.5
to 4 hours per day. Five Rose Lane provides the benefits of a developmentally-appropriate curriculum, access to high-quality hands-on learning materials, a nurturing school community, and educational support without the rigidity of a traditional school schedule. This program falls under the umbrella of an educational resource for homeschooling families. Parents must meet all state-mandated requirements for providing educational opportunities to their children, which we cover in detail during our orientation and family education days. We believe that education is a collaborative effort between the child, his/her caregivers, and the teacher. It is our ultimate goal to facilitate a healthy, transparent school experience that supports children in finding their direction and purpose, while cultivating a strong imagination, a sense of truth, and a feeling of responsibility. We also offer after-school classes in the performing arts for ages 4 and up through our sister school, Stagemakers.
