🐾 If you haven’t heard… we’re having FUN over here at MVMS! 🎉
Here are just a few highlights from around campus lately:
📣 Bilingual morning announcements are officially underway! Huge thank you to our amazing student announcers!
⚽️ PE is getting active with soccer, frisbee golf, and pickle ball (not pictured)!
🎶 Band has their instruments! We can’t wait to hear how much our students grow throughout the year! 🎺🥁
👏 Collaboration & engagement in Science with Ms. O’Brien - we saw some great posters!
🐾 The Wildcat Exchange is OPEN! Our Wildcat Cash store is up and running. Thank you to our student volunteers who make it happen! 💛
🏐⚽️✨ And (as always) there was A LOT happening at lunch last week—volleyball, soccer, neon, and plenty of energy!
💙 GFU Serve Day brought even more excitement to campus, and of course… Officer Jay stopped by a few times! 👮‍♂️

First day with 6th graders ✅ It was SO MUCH FUN! We hope our students got what they needed out of today!

Here is a little peak into what we did today:

1) Schedule pickup (with bubbles & music of course)
2) Assembly & relay - blue team won!
3) Rotations (to meet some important people & learn the spaces: gym, cafeteria, main office, counseling office, library, and locker practice)
4) Schedule run through + lunch
5) Popsicles from the principal & plenty of staff to help us make sure we knew our bus numbers and how we were getting home.

Our 7th & 8th grade friends join us tomorrow and we are ready!
