We hope you all enjoyed STEAM Night as much as we did!

We’re sharing two QR codes for those who are willing and able to support:

• PERCH Wildlife Education – the nonprofit organization that brought the incredible Birds of Prey. They typically charge for events, but generously provided their program for our STEAM Night at no cost. Donations help them continue fostering and educating the community about these amazing birds.

• EYST – if you loved STEAM Night, please consider donating to help us keep this event free for everyone each year. We rely on donations and fundraisers to make it possible.

Thank you so much for supporting our community and helping us continue these meaningful experiences!

A big thank you to everyone who joined us for STEAM Night! We had a blast and hope you did too. We’re so proud of our Ewing Young staff for their 100% attendance, and we are incredibly grateful to the vendors and volunteers who helped everything run smoothly.

We also want to recognize Sara McAleer. This night wouldn't have been possible without her expertise and community connections. Thank you, Sara, for your hard work and for making the night so special for our students!

Reminder & Important Update for Families

We’re excited to invite you to an interactive, hands-on STEAM Night at Ewing Young Elementary!

đź“… Thursday, April 2nd
⏰ 5:00 – 7:30 PM

Come spend the evening building, exploring, and creating together at a variety of engaging stations designed to spark curiosity and creativity in:
🔬 Science
đź’» Technology
⚙️ Engineering
🎨 Art
âž— Math

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Important Reminders for Families

âś… This is a family event
All students must be supervised by an adult while participating in stations. Students who arrive at a station without an adult will need to wait until their adult is present before participating.
This expectation is essential for safety and is a requirement from many of our volunteers and community partners helping make this event possible.

âś… Be hands-on!
Parents are encouraged to actively participate alongside your child—help build, design, code, and problem-solve together.

âś… Stay engaged at stations
Please remain with your child at each activity to support both learning and fun.

💡 Why You Don’t Want to Miss It

This is a great opportunity to:
✨ Connect with your child’s learning in a meaningful way
✨ See creativity and problem-solving in action
✨ Experience the joy of learning—together

We can’t wait to see our entire Newberg Community come together for an evening full of curiosity, creativity, and connection.

Let’s build, discover, and create—Better Together! 💙🌳
