Campus is closed, but the Bruin Community Pantry food bank remains open to serve students in need!

We had more than 200 students utilize the food bank in April – a 175% increase over March! Now we need your help to restock the pantry with non-perishable foods and essential toiletries, especially these items:

- Soups (except cream of mushroom)
- Tuna
- Canned meals
- Canned meats
- SPAM
- Non-dairy shelf stable milk
- Macaroni and cheese
- Pasta sauce
- Cereal
- Tofu
- Chili
- Gluten free items
- Instant oatmeal packets

Donations can be dropped off at the Roberts Center (Newberg campus), room 110 MWF from 4 to 5:30 p.m. or Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon. There is an exterior entrance to the food bank through the courtyard off Sherman Street. Thank you for supporting George Fox students!

Want to make a difference in the life of a George Fox student today? Donate to Bruin Community Pantry!

After a recent awareness campaign on social media, more students have started to utilize the program, which includes hospitality tables, a food pantry and quality inspected leftovers. Now we need to restock to ensure that any student experiencing food insecurity has something to eat.

Specifically, we need these items:
- Pasta – other than spaghetti
- Tomato sauces
- One can meals – stews
- Boxed meals
- Alternative milk products
- Cereal – not individual oatmeal packets
- Grains
- Hearty soups
- Vegetables
- Beans – kidney, black, refried, white beans
- Gluten-free products – pasta

How to give:
- Drop off your donations at the Bruin Store or the Stevens Center front desk.
