Of 499 study participants with menopause who reported current cannabis use in a research study done in Canada: 75% said it was specifically medicinal, 65% said it worked for sleep, 45% were reporting a big help with anxiety, 29% had control over menopausal irritability, 33% found help with bodily and joint pain and 25% stated they were no longer depressed.
Clinical Endocannabinoid Deficiency Syndrome accounts for much more than initially thought, as the human body ages there are various physiological time clocks that start. The lack of endocannabinoids causes various issues that include the early onset of common core aging processes including menopause and contributes to the severity and overall discomfort of it from the symptoms to surgeries.
Patients going through menopause have reported high levels of pharmaceutical side effects so research findings like this that include patient surveys are particularly helpful in comparison to studies that are purely scientific and may have areas of conjecture that generally aren't found in the sincere responses from patients with serious medical conditions in studies." -Mike Robinson, Founder, GCRC
