Big Congratulations to our very own Charles Brown!

We are thrilled to announce that Charles Brown, our Assistant Dean for Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Access at Rutgers Business School, has been recognized on the 2025 NJBIZ Education Power List!

From growing up around the Rutgers–Newark campus to leading key programs for underrepresented students, his journey has been about opening doors and keeping them open. His work includes:

• Building and directing the RBS PREP (Pre-College Enrichment Program) • Leading RBS B-STAR (Business Students in Transition at Rutgers) • Launching NextUp, giving high school freshmen & sophomores a head start with guidance on college admissions, financial aid, and navigating business school pathways.

These are some of many ways he is not just shaping lives, but transforming educational access.
