The College of Computing Sciences symbolizes NJIT's desire to make computing a centerpiece of its educational activities in the 21st century. The popularity of NJIT’s computing sciences programs has resulted in the size of the CCS faculty and instructional staff growing to nearly 60 members. Yet, class sizes remain small, averaging under 20 students. As the first college of its kind in New Jersey,
