Over the past 2 days our members have helped organize the photography section of the Worcester County Fair and entered our own entries to be judged! Tonight livestock will arrive and the Fair starts tomorrow, Friday August 7th til August 9th!

Want to see a cool Cow 🐄 Birthing Simulator? It'll be Friday near the livestock tent from 2:30-4:15

The Farmer Olympics was an idea 💡 we came up with! Please consider registering on the Fair website and participating! Friday at 5pm! Open to the public and for FFA members to win a prize 🏆

Hope Summer 🌞 is treating everyone well 😁

The Blessing of the Combines event is Saturday! We will have a booth there 😁 selling honey 🍯 thank you Hailey, Ella, and Alyssa for agreeing to help!

Additionally, the Worcester County Fair is coming up! There will be an Agriculture Olympics event, please consider signing up for it ☺️ AND/OR Turkey 🦃 Calling too! It's open to the PUBLIC for ALL Ages! Not just FFA members (although 💙💛 an FFA member has a pretty good shot at winning it 😉)

What a memorable 98th Maryland FFA Convention!

Kanye Reid was awarded the State Degree! 🏅

Brooke Warren was awarded her Proficiency Degree in her Equine Science Entrepreneurship SAE! 🏅

Ag Sales placed 3rd in the State!
Hailey Renshaw placed FIRST 🥇 Individually
Andy Maynard placed THIRD 🥉 Individually

Ag Communications placed 3rd in the State!
Marian Adkins placed 8th 🏅 Individually

Hailey Renshaw also placed 8th 🏅 Individually in Extemporaneous Public Speaking

Mrs. Ruggiero also received recognition for her dedication as an Ag Educator 🦉

Jayden Garton was recognized for being tagged to Teach Ag pursuing education in college

We are having a good time so far out in Garrett County Maryland!

Last Thursday 6/11 we took our last field trip to visit the Ocean Pines Garden Club. We shared a presentation about beekeeping, honey extraction, and the pollinator garden we have. We also sold local honey as well as our T-shirts.

To support the next generation of agricultural leaders, OPGC Co-President Ann Shockley presented the group with a $500 donation to further their beekeeping initiatives.
