Champions of the High Frequency Trading Competition (HFTC) held at Stevens Tech ! 🏆🥇
Huge congratulations to our MQF students, Yaning Wu and Elizabeth Pisakhova, for winning 1st place and a $2,000 cash prize in this prestigious global algorithmic trading challenge! 🚀💻
Outlasting 192 participants from 46 elite universities worldwide, the team conquered an intensive two-month, five-round battle and earned the highest cumulative score and won the championship. Their trading agent dominated market simulations ranging from high-VIX environments to complex Reinforcement Learning bots.
