Newark Collegiate Academy (NCA) opened in August 2007 serving grades 9-12. Mostly matriculating from TEAM's middle schools, Rise and TEAM Academies.
KIPP Newark Collegiate Academy is KIPP New Jersey's first, and currently only, high school. It serves over 600 students in grades 9-12. Located in Newark's West Ward, KIPP NCA receives matriculating students from KIPP TEAM Academy and KIPP Rise Academy, as well as students through Newark's Universal Enrollment program. KIPP NCA graduates go on to colleges like Georgetown, Rutgers New Brunswick, Stevens Institute of Technology and Loyola Marymount.

Big news: KIPP Newark Collegiate Academy seniors Quentin Lewis, Lisbeth Gil, Menelik James, and Oscar Grenados have been awarded full-ride scholarships to four-year universities through the The Posse Foundation, a nonprofit that identifies and trains rising student leaders.
Quentin and Menelik will attend Davidson College and Lisbeth and Oscar will be heading to Cornell College!
