Licking County: Stars, Stripes and Scarlet Celebrate the 3rd of July with your fellow Buckeyes in Licking County!

Join the The Ohio State University Alumni Club of Licking County on July 3rd at the Reese Center in Newark for a fun summer evening with fellow Buckeyes as we kick off the holiday weekend and watch fireworks together at our Licking County: Stars, Stripes and Scarlet event!

We’ll have a cookout-style dinner, live music 🎶, yard games, and plenty of time to catch up with friends old and new.

As the evening winds down, we’ll head to a reserved alumni viewing area to take in the fireworks 🎆 and celebrate the start of Independence Day.

Last night, members of The Ohio State University Alumni Club of Licking County had the opportunity to attend “Oval Unscripted: An Evening with Ohio State Athletic Director, Ross Bjork.”

It was an engaging evening, giving us the chance to hear directly from Ross as he shared insights on the strategic future of Buckeye athletics with topics including NIL and the transfer portal.

The conversation was thoughtfully moderated by Molly Ranz Calhoun, President of The Ohio State University Alumni Association.
