Future Scientists in the Making :
A high school student is currently doing an internship with our group and has co-authored a research paper on Generative AI, now published in Cell Reports Physical Science.
In the past, another high school student published a first-author paper in the Elsevier Journal of Materials Science. That student is now pursuing an M.D. at Georgetown University Medical Center.
This summer, we are mentoring 15 high school students - many of whom are on track to publish journal papers.
It’s truly inspiring to see high school students publishing research before even starting college. Wishing these bright young minds continued success !
