𝗣𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀' 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗧𝗿𝗶𝗽 𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝗸𝗿𝗼𝗻
Licking Valley invaded Firestone Stadium for their last business trip of the season in a regional final rematch from last season.
The third inning was ACTION PACKED for both squads as the Panthers started it off with back-to-back HR’s from Emory Whisner and Alexa Gilliam to plate five runs, while the Cougars brought across four runs in the bottom of the inning.
Licking Valley finished their DOMINANT season as state runner-ups with a record of 27-1, and recorded a perfect record in LCL play at 16-0 en route to claiming the LCL Championship behind the leadership of their lone senior, Addi Justice!

Lessons Learned.
The scoreboard says the game finished 7-6
Our record shows 27-1.
Most people will see one loss.
What we see is a group of young women who won an LCL Championship, a District Championship, a Regional Championship, reached the State Final Four, and played for a State Championship.
We see countless hours of work when nobody was watching.
Early mornings. Late nights. Extra swings. Extra reps. Bus rides. Rain delays. Tough conversations. Adversity. Growth.
This season wasn’t defined by one game.
It was defined by every moment that led us there.

LCL Champions.
District Champions.
Regional Champions.
State Finalists.
Hold your heads high, Panthers.
Not because of what happened today…
but because of everything you accomplished together.
The standard has been set.

🥎 SOFTBALL: Newark Licking Valley defeats Bryan 2-1 in the Division IV State Semifinal! The Panthers will play in the State Championship on Sunday, June 7 at 11:00 AM!
