📚🎉 Rutgers Graduate School–Newark is proud to celebrate alumnus Kamil Olufowobi on the publication of his new book, Government Quotient: A New Intelligence for Leadership, Service and Public Impact!

A graduate of Rutgers–Newark's former Division of Global Affairs, Kamil's book introduces Government Quotient (GQ), a new framework exploring the intelligence individuals and institutions need to better understand, navigate, and engage with government systems. The book poses a thought-provoking question: Is there a distinct human capability that enables some people to engage government systems more effectively than others?

To mark the release, Kamil will host the Government Quotient (GQ) Global Book Launch & Forum on September 23, 2026, at 11 Times Square in New York City. Held on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly, the forum's theme is"Building a Government-Intelligent World" and will feature discussions on the intersection of government, academia, leadership, and public impact.

👏 Congratulations, Kamil, on this exciting achievement and for advancing a global conversation on leadership, service, and the role of government in society. We wish you continued success!

🎉 Innovation in Action! 🎉We are proud to celebrate the 10 scholars from across the nation who officially presented their summer research projects through the Summer Undergraduate Research Institute (SURI).

Programs like SURI provide invaluable hands-on learning experiences that bridge the gap between undergraduate study and advanced academic research. Throughout the summer, these talented students explored new ideas, developed research skills, and contributed to meaningful scholarly work.

👏 Congratulations to this outstanding cohort on a successful summer of discovery, innovation, and achievement! We look forward to seeing all they accomplish in the future.
