If you are livestock project member and you have NOT attended a Quality Assurance Training OR completed the online YQCA module, you must do so by June 1st! You can either attend a QA training in another county, or complete the YQCA module online. If you do the YQCA module, please remeber to email your certificate of completion to Lisa McCutcheon.

Tonight will be our last countywide Quality Assurance Program! Livestock project members are required to complete their Quality Assurance Training Requirement by June 1st! The program starts at 6:30pm at Johnstown High School.

🐄🐖🐓 Ohio 4-H Animal Sciences Opportunities at the Ohio State Fair! 🐓🐖🐄

This summer, Ohio 4-H members have several exciting opportunities to showcase their animal knowledge and skills through educational contests and events at the Ohio State Fair.

Opportunities Include:
• Ohio 4-H Skillathons (Dates Vary)
• Outstanding Exhibitor (Breeding and Market) (Dates Vary)
• Ohio State Fair 4-H Livestock Judging Contest – July 26, 2026
• Ohio State Fair 4-H Poultry Judging Contest – July 11, 2026
• Ohio State Fair 4-H Avian Bowl Contest – July 11, 2026

These experiences help youth build industry knowledge, confidence, critical thinking, and teamwork skills while connecting with fellow exhibitors from across Ohio.

📌 Please note:
Registration for the Livestock Judging, Poultry Judging, and Avian Bowl contests requires an Extension professional’s signature to verify current 4-H membership standing.

⏳In-Person/Breeding Skillathon station topics and resources will be posted very soon.

Please don't forget that you need to have your market lambs and market goats entered in to the pre-registration online by NOON TODAY! This is the information that will be used on Saturday to get your animals checked-in and tagged for the fair! NOTE: Lamb Pool lambs do not complete online pre-registration and do not come to tagging on Saturday.
