As we look back on the graduation of the Blessed Sacrament Class of 2026, we are filled with gratitude for the young men and women they have become. Throughout their years here, they have grown in faith, knowledge, service, and friendship, leaving a lasting mark on our school community.

As they continue their journey, we pray they always keep Christ at the center of their lives, trust in God’s plan, and use their gifts to serve others. While we miss seeing them in our halls, we know they carry with them the values, faith, and foundation built at Blessed Sacrament.

On May 28th we celebrated our preschool graduates! We are so proud of how they have grown in learning, friendship, and faith throughout the year.

May God bless them as they take the next step to kindergarten. We can’t wait to welcome these little Crusaders back in the fall! ✝️📚💛

One of our favorite end-of-year traditions took place as the 8th Grade Neon Team faced off against the staff in the annual dodgeball game! 🏐💚💛

The gym was filled with energy, laughter, friendly competition, and plenty of school spirit as students and staff battled it out one last time before graduation. Thank you to our 8th graders for being great sports and helping make this tradition so much fun. What a memorable way to celebrate their final days at Blessed Sacrament!

Our K–4 students enjoyed a trip to Dairy Isle to cool off and celebrate all of their hard work and accomplishments this year. Thank you to our Home & School, volunteers and teachers for making this special treat possible!

✨ A Moment That Reminds Us Why We Teach ✨

Blessed Sacrament's Middle School History teacher, Mr. Orend, shares about who shaped his journey as an educator:

"I had three people who have influenced myself as an educator. My Mom was a 5th and 6th grade teacher, who gave up her career to raise me and my sisters. My 5th grade teacher-Mr. Kennedy made history come to life for me. Finally, Mr. Victor Rutter who was my history professor at Ohio Univ. Eastern."

At SPICE, we know that great educators are often inspired by the teachers, mentors, and role models who helped shape their own journeys. Thank you, Mr. Orend, for sharing the people who helped inspire your passion for teaching and learning. 📚✝️💙

🔬 Our 8th grade students put science into action through rat dissections! This hands-on experience allowed them to observe, investigate, and discover how scientists learn about the world. By studying patterns, structures, and unique observations, students strengthened their critical thinking skills and gained a deeper understanding of scientific inquiry. ✨

Learning takes many forms at Blessed Sacrament! From 6th graders delivering speeches in ELA and 4th graders exploring Shakespeare, to 2nd grade small groups, 1st grade circle time, and 3rd grade math lessons, our students are engaged in meaningful learning every day. Kindergarten students are building important listening skills, 5th graders are developing effective note-taking strategies, religion classes are collaborating through group work, and art students are exploring their creativity through a variety of mediums and materials. Preschoolers are celebrating special milestones like birthdays, and science students are putting their creativity and problem-solving skills to work by building cars. No matter the grade level or subject, learning is always happening at Blessed Sacrament—and every day brings new opportunities to grow, discover, and succeed!

Throughout the month of May, we honored our Blessed Mother, Mary, by having a different class lead our school in a decade of the Rosary each morning. It was a beautiful way to come together in prayer, grow in our faith, and reflect on Mary’s example of love and devotion to God. We thank Mary for her guidance and ask her continued intercession in our lives. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us now and always. 💙🙏🏻

Our First Holy Communion students recently brought in the special gifts they received to have them blessed by Father. We are so grateful for his time and for sharing this meaningful moment with our students. Thank you, Father, for helping our children grow in their faith and understanding of God’s presence in their lives.

Having religious items blessed is a beautiful reminder that these gifts are more than keepsakes—they are sacred signs that can inspire prayer, strengthen faith, and draw us closer to God each day. ✝️💜
