During Washington Township's National Night Out, Rutgers Nursing Blackwood students put their skills into action by providing blood pressure checks and basic health screenings for community members.

Students also had the opportunity to connect with local residents, including Washington Township Mayor Anthony DellaPia, while sharing information about Rutgers Nursing’s 2+2 program.

Experiences like these help prepare future nurses to serve not only individual patients, but the communities around them.
