Her Majesty the Queen.

Today is a very sad day as we see the passing of our Queen Elizabeth II 🇬🇧
Over 70 years on the throne, didn’t she do it with style & class ✨
Those were the days. My old shoulder couldn’t even hit it out that far anymore. Getting old sucks. For both of us. 😢. I used to love watching her swim. And she couldn’t wait for me to hit it back out again. Over and over and over again.

I hadn't thought to post here in quite a while since I'm retired from thereapy work but mom says I need surgery before I can do anything but walk which is SO boring. SO many of mom's friends have contributed (after they encouraged mom to start this page which she was reluctant to do) and we are both SO grateful for the support that someone suggested we post here too. We are just a few hundred dollars short of our goal so any help will be much appreciated - positive thoughts and prayers for surgery This Friday (8.27.21) will be very much appreciated too! (I'm clueless about it all but mom's a nervous wreck for some reason - although all the support has calmed her down a lot. How can anything go wrong with so many people supporting us?)

Mom and I got to go visiting to Newark Hills Health & Rehab today! So fun to see all my friends again. One just turned 102 a few days ago!!! Wow! I'll only be 8 on my birthday tomorrow. And I got to see some Angel Paws volunteers in training friends too. They kept track of all mom's mistakes. I was fabulous though! :)
