All 4-H and FFA members planning to exhibit Junior Fair livestock during the 2026 Hartford Fair must complete their Livestock Quality Assurance training by no later than 11:59 p.m. on June 1, 2026.

If they have not yet completed a training, they can complete the YQCA online training at www.YQCAProgram.org at a cost of $12, but please remember to forward your time/date-stamped certificate of completion to your respective 4-H Educator or FFA Advisor to remain eligible to show.

🚨Pre-registration is due tomorrow (5/14) @ NOON 🚨
It's time to get your lamb registered for the upcoming tagging day, which will take place Saturday, May 16 (9am-12pm) at the Fairgrounds (Sheriff's Office). Pre-registration must be completed by no later than NOON on Thursday, May 14.

Please register each lamb you plan to bring to tagging, as this will allow for us to be sure that we have enough tags - and cut down on the time that it takes as each family moves through the line... Lamb Pool lambs should NOT be entered in this pre-registration, as they do not attend tagging on May 16.

The Licking County Sheep Improvement Committee is proud to support the dedicated youth who invest early mornings, late nights, and daily care into raising and showing sheep. Through awards, recognition, and meaningful incentives, the committee helps foster confidence, responsibility, and lifelong agricultural skills. As we prepare for the 2026 4-H Show and Lamb Pool Show at the Hartford Fair, we are seeking sponsors who want to make a lasting impact on these hardworking young exhibitors. With a range of sponsorship levels—from Bronze to Premium—every contribution helps celebrate and encourage the next generation of sheep producers in Licking County. All sponsors will be recognized through event signage and social media, offering a great opportunity to show your support for local youth and agriculture.
