September is National Recovery Month! Recovery from drug and alcohol use is a voluntary commitment to a sober lifestyle. At UD, one of the resources available to support students who are looking to make changes in their alcohol or drug use is the Collegiate Recovery Community at UD. The CRC provides a safe and confidential environment to discuss topics and ideas supportive of recovery and connects students with others who have the same values in life. Looking for support for recovery from things other than alcohol or drug use? The CRC also provides support for students in recovery from eating disorders, mental health concerns, gaming, gambling, etc...for more info, visit udel.edu/studentwellness

Today we come together as a UD community to remember and honor those lost in the 9/11 terror attacks 20 years ago. We honor the lives of those we lost, support those who are grieving, and remain grateful for those who worked and continue to work to keep us safe.

“Recovery Ally training is important for our social wellness because it shows people in recovery that there is a place for them here at UD. It allows us to meet other people in recovery as well as people who care about those in recovery or who struggle with addition. It makes us feel like we belong.” - Miriam Hechtam, UD Class of 2022
