Whether you’ve been performing for years or you’re just beginning your theatrical journey, this production invites you to be part of an ensemble committed to delivering a thoughtful, intimate, and character‑centered take on The Mousetrap.

A timeless tale of “whodunnit,” Agatha Christie’s The Mousetrap strands seven strangers at Monkswell Manor during a blizzard, where a police sergeant arrives fearing a murderer is among them. Before he can investigate, one of the guests is killed, launching a search through the tangled histories and hidden motives of everyone in the house. One of them is the killer, and another may be next—will the case be solved before another “mouse” falls? The Mousetrap is Christie’s perfectly contained mystery: strangers trapped together, tension rising with every small gesture and hesitation. The long‑standing tradition of guarding the twist gives the play a ritualistic allure, inviting audiences into a secret that must be kept. Its atmosphere is both cozy and unsettling—a warm guesthouse wrapped in snow yet humming with danger beneath the surface. Combined with its status as the longest‑running play in the world and the intensely intimate ensemble experience it creates for actors, the result is a production that feels both timeless and newly charged every time it’s staged.
