Camp Abilities Delaware Join us for summer camp, August 2-7 in Newark, DE! Children receive one-on-one instruction during all physical activities and events.

Camp Abilities Delaware is an educational sports camp for young people ages 5-17 who are blind or have low vision. Camp Abilities Delaware is an overnight camp experience that introduces children to a variety of sports, including cross-country running, field events, golf, soccer, team building, beep baseball, Frisbee, football, and dance. The purpose of the camp is to empower children to be physically active, improve their overall health and wellness, encourage them to make food choices that support an active lifestyle, and develop their confidence and self-esteem through sport and physical activity. We offer several programs:
Summer- day camp (ages 5-7), overnight camp (ages 8-17), Coach In Training (ages 15-17)
Winter- overnight weekend camp (ages 7-17), Coach In Training (ages 15-17)

Calling all CADE athletes who are artistic! Penn-Del AER, the organization that supports TVIs and O&Ms in PA and DE, is looking for student art to represent their conference!

Penn-Del AER is seeking original artwork from students with visual impairments, from K–12 through college and post-secondary programs, throughout our region to represent our 2027 Penn-Del AER Conference!
All artwork must be submitted in PNG, JPG, or JPEG format by 11:59 p.m. on September 18, 2026.

Camp Abilities Delaware Summer Camp 2026 was a success.

We would like to thank the volunteers, Lions Club Members and restaurants who helped make breakfasts, lunches and dinners a success!
