The documentary class students at the Arts, Culture and Media Department’s Video Program are proud to present a series of six short video portraits on Newark Muslims.
The films will be part of the Muslim Voices program at the Newark Museum on December 3, from 12PM to 5 PM.
Produced in collaboration with Dr. Zain Abdullah ( Project Director), Temple University Professor of Islamic Studies. The videos will be part of an afternoon of short films, stage actor readings and performances that reflect the voices of Muslims in Newark.
The event is co-sponsored by the Newark 350 Celebration, the Newark Museum, and the African American Studies & African Studies Dept. of Rutgers-Newark.

This short video was made as part of a Narrative Video class at the Video Program. All students were given the same sheet of dialogue with no action description ( Neutral Scene) and they had to create a story based on just a few dialogue lines. Each video was completely different.
