Come on out tomorrow evening for an event full of fun!

Well it’s finally here! After our few month hiatus, Astronomy on Tap Delaware is officially coming back to the Greene Turtle in Newark, DE!

We have two fantastic speakers lined up. First is University of Delaware professor and Resident Astronomer of the Mount Cuba Astronomical Observatory, Dr. Judi Provencal, who will be giving a talk on The Music of the Stars. Next up will be Patrick Stanley, a graduate student attending the University of Delaware, who will be speaking about The Exotic Climate on Titan!

Please join us on Tuesday, October 25 at 6:30pm at the Greene Turtle (250 S. Main St. Newark, DE) to take part in this fun event! Anyone of any age is welcome to attend!

Please consider joining the Delmarva Space Science Foundation and NASA Wallops Island for International Observe the Moon Night on October 1! An Astro101 talk will be given followed by telescope observing. The event is located at the NASA Wallops Island Visitor’s Center in Chincoteague, VA.

Teams have reviewed the data from Monday's launch attempt of the I mission and are moving forward with a second launch attempt on Sat., Sept. 3, with a two-hour launch window starting at 2:17 p.m. EDT (18:17 UTC).
