Newark Preparatory Charter School Newark Preparatory Charter School is one of Newark’s newest and most innovative public charter schools.
With its inspirational and individualized “blended learning” approach, Newark Prep provides a unique 21st-century education option for the students and families of Newark. Approved by the New Jersey Department of Education to serve students in grades 9–12, Newark Prep will initially serve ninth grade for the 2012–2013 school year and expand to offer additional grades in subsequent academic years.
Due to the storm's aftermath, Newark Prep will be closed on Friday, November 2nd. School will reopen and Monday, November 5th.
