KIPP Newark students have officially started the 2026–27 school year!

NBC 4 New York featured KIPP Newark Life Academy first day in its brand-new school building, created in partnership with the Boys & Girls Club of Newark.
With 33 technology-equipped classrooms and access to a gymnasium, playgrounds, and a full-production kitchen, the new space gives our students even more opportunities to learn, grow, and thrive.

Our KIPP Cooper Norcross Academy students are running (back) to school!

As KIPP Lanning Square Primary begins its 13th year in Camden, we’re grateful to have our students back and our classrooms full again.

For 13 years, we’ve partnered with families and built schools in Camden where students are challenged academically, known deeply, and excited to show up each day. That commitment continues across all of our New Jersey schools as we start another year, together.

We kicked off the 2026–27 school year with our incredible KIPP Newark Public Schools and KIPP Paterson Public Schools teams!

Heartbeat Day brought our staff together to reconnect with our mission, celebrate our school communities, and get energized for the year ahead.

We also heard from students, families, and alumni who shared their KIPP NJ experiences and perspectives, reminding us of the impact our schools can have during a student’s time at KIPP NJ and long after they graduate.

We kicked off the 2026–27 school year together at KIPP Cooper Norcross Academy , celebrating the community, purpose, and mission that will guide us through another incredible year.

Throughout the day, we heard from students and families who shared what KIPP has meant to them and the impact our schools have had on their journeys. Their stories were a powerful reminder of why we do this work.
