As summer begins, we want to pause and give thanks for the Lord’s goodness and provision throughout this co-op year.

We are especially thankful for our MOCC teachers, who gave their time, energy, creativity, and care to serve our students and families so faithfully.

Thank you, teachers, for the ways you showed up, poured out, and helped make this year such a blessing.

☀️ Do you homeschool year-round? ☀️

Summer looks a little different for every homeschool family. Some families take the whole summer off, some keep a light routine, and some do a little bit of both.

In our home, we’ve found that year-round homeschooling works really well for us. Summer school days are slower, lighter, and more flexible. We do more reading, more hands-on activities, more outside time, and we leave plenty of room for warm-weather fun.

It doesn’t have to look like a full school day at the table. Sometimes it looks like read-alouds at breakfast, nature walks, garden chores, simple projects, library books, or learning woven into everyday life.

One of the benefits of year-round homeschooling is that it can help avoid the summer slide while still giving kids plenty of time to rest, play, and enjoy summer.

What a beautiful reminder as we head into a new week. No matter what last week looked like, God’s mercy is not running low. His love has not worn thin. His faithfulness meets us again and again.
