UDaB: University of Delaware Alternative Breaks
UDaB is now in its tenth year. In 2019, UDaB provided 29 service experiences with 62 Site Leaders and 464 student participants.
The University of Delaware Alternative Spring Break program immerses student-led teams in direct service and experiential learning with community organizations to increase knowledge of social justice issues and encourage life-long active citizenship. When it began, spring break of 2011, 92 students and 12 student leaders traveled to five communities to pursue service projects related to homelessne
