Army veteran Rodney Sparks was placed with Service Dog Novella after learning about Canine Companions through the program. Rodney shares, "I'm just happier. She gives me somebody to take care of, and somebody who takes care of me." Special thanks to Wounded Warrior Project for their $90,000 grant in support of our Veterans Initiative to sponsor veterans like Rodney.

Just another beautiful day in Delaware and our pups are loving the weather and spending time on The Green! Waldo has been checking out campus and taking every chance he gets to soak up some sun on The Green. Remember to join our meeting tomorrow where we are discussing Eboard positions and how to apply for next year! We are excited to have everyone there and get to see Waldo and Malfoy play a little. (Waldo is on leash here as our pups always are when in an unenclosed area like the Green)

We are so excited to announce that Ashley @fosteringpuppies is coming to speak with our club on Thursday night during our weekly meeting! We all love following her journey with CCI on Instagram and are thrilled to hear about her new pup Zucchini! We are excited to hear her story and share about her experience raising in college. The meeting will be Thursday at 8pm EST, zoom link is in the bio. We will post more updates as we get closer to the meeting.

We are so proud of all the work CCI is doing to help people live their best lives! This is such a great example of the amazing work these pups do to comfort and assist adults and children.
