We had a number of speeches from Frank Flatch(The Chairman of The Northeast Patrons), Dr. Mahgoub(CIM Director) and Dr. Thomas Juliano(Chair of the Department of Engineering Technology(ET) / School of Applied Engineering and Technology(SAET)). Many students presented a powerpoint of the breakdown of a day in the life working in the industry as well as the ACI and ICRI student organization updates. Other students presented about concrete projects they worked on this semester and there were also two graduate student presentations talking about their experience. We had a total of 18 different companies interviewing our students providing them with opportunities to succeed in this industry.
We would like to thank Frank Flatch for putting this event together, along with Dr. Mohamed Mahgoub, the faculty, and the technical staff! We also would like to thank Dr. Bloom and his wife for attending this last Patron's meeting as NJIT president.
