Trucking and Trade Career event coming to Cedar Ridge High School next week! 🚚

On Tuesday, August 25th, Be Pro Be Proud, Arkansas Trucking Association, and Bill Davis Trucking will be visiting with our high school students! Be Pro Be Proud is a workforce development initiative designed to change perceptions about the pursuit of technical careers as options of first choice, not last resort. Be Pro Be Proud truck not only has trucking simulators; they also have simulators for welding and plumbing and robotics.

We are so excited to bring this opportunity to our students!

This coming Monday is the beginning of concurrent and secondary career center classes! New students taking classes at the UACCB campus were taken to the UACCB Open House yesterday. Congratulations to Jacob Jones for winning a Dell laptop from UACCB!

Students were shown the location for their classes, met their instructors, received a UACCB student ID and enjoyed a free lunch. Thanks to our Career Coach, Mrs. Bray, for ensuring they are ready for their new college classes on Monday!
