AHS PTSO General Parent Meeting December 8, 2022.
Art Scholar Alix, Student Class President of the sophomore class announced the events and updates that were going on on the school.
Spirit Week
Musical The Wiz
Winter Concert

Principal DeNose shared Quarter 1 Updates

We have a raffle winner
Ms. Ruthie Dash new member won the first Major Raffle, Art Basket.

Also,
We had our first webex for our live ptso meeting.

Although it was Nomination Night
The majority of the members present voted to have voting take place.
According to the Parent Liaison, PTSO was supposed to have a full Executive board by October.
We were already in December.

Alina, Vanessa, and Elissa came out and represented the AHS PTSO at the Parent Teacher Conference.
Membership Total $50
Major Basket Raffle $40
This will be raffled off at our next meeting.
Friends of Arts High School raised $10
from 11/16 - 11/30 winner got a Lotion from Bath and Body Works.
About 7 new parents signed up
We assisted with translation and access to power school with Liaison Ms. Salley

Next AHS PTSO General Parent Meeting will be Thursday December 8, 2022

We still welcome parents to design a basket with a major theme to raffle off.

We decided 1st Thursday of every month for the General Parent Meetings. We will also work around the school's agenda. October 6 didn't workout so we made an exception and had another one on the 13th in October.
