Early Release Reminder

Tomorrow is the last day of school!

As a reminder NCS will be dismissing students two hours early! Have a great last day!

Hello Heritage families,

As we enter our final week of school, we have a few events.

1. Tuesday the 19th -

- Chromebook collection - 8th graders will KEEP their chromebooks for next year.

- 8th grade clap-out at 2:25, If you wish to participate please plan on arriving early and line-up outside the schools main entrance.

- 8th grade celebration will take place promptly at 6:00 in the gymnasium, 8th graders participating will need to be upstairs in the 8th grade hallway by no later THAN 5:30. Punch and photos in cafe following the ceremony.

2. Wednesday the 20th - House feast at lunch for our first House winner, 4 houses still are in the running.

- Choir concert 7:00 pm @ Newark High School

3. Thursday the 21st - Last day of school. Students will be dismissed at 12:30.

Today is Wildcat Wednesday! Wear your wildcat gear to earn some house points.

Reminder- there will be no school for students tomorrow, May 5, due to Election Day. Staff will have professional development.

Tomorrow we will have WILDCAT WEDNESDAY. Students can wear any Newark City Schools/Wildcat Spirit wears. If students wear WILDCAT SPIRIT wear they will receive a House point for their house!!!

The 2025/2026 Yearbooks are here. If you ordered a yearbook, they will be passed out tomorrow. If you are interested in a yearbook, there are copies in the front office. Please contact the front office on how to purchase one.
