As we approach the end of the school year, it is with great pride that we acknowledge the remarkable progress of our preschool class. Today we’re excited to introduce Cori Karstetter, one of the newest and most phenomenal additions to our A Simple Dimple family!

Cori brings years of experience from both healthcare and her roles as a parent and proud grandparent, and it shows in the care, patience, and heart she brings into our classrooms every day.

A graduate of Springville Local in Petersburg, Ohio, Cori loves spending time with her greatest joy — her grandkids. She enjoys traveling back home to Youngstown, taking peaceful walks with her daughter and their dog, and she’s known around here for being an amazing baker and cook.

We are so grateful for the warmth, wisdom, and love Cori brings to our center. She has truly been a blessing to our team! 💛✨

Today we’re celebrating Carol Accountuis, a truly special part of our A Simple Dimple family!

Carol has been with us since the very beginning — all the way back when we were a home daycare. She is now working on her 5th year in childcare and is currently earning her CDA, continuing to grow and pour even more into the children she cares for.

Before joining the childcare world, Carol worked in healthcare, and it shows in everything she does — her nurturing nature, her patience, and the gentle way she supports every child who walks through our doors.

Carol is also a proud mom of two boys (who are almost as tall as she is!), and she loves spending time with them. Some of her favorite things include:
• Camping
• Reading
• Taking her boys to the park
• Enjoying their activities in and out of school
• Hosting family events and making the most out of life’s little moments

Today we’re celebrating Reanne Hansgen, one of our amazing assistant teachers here at A Simple Dimple Daycare!

Reanne is a proud graduate of New Lexington High School and is currently working toward earning her CDA, showing just how dedicated she is to growing in the childcare field.

Outside of work, Reanne loves spending time with her friends and family, getting lost in a good book, and enjoying the outdoors — especially when it involves a little hiking.

Her absolute favorite part of the job?
✨ Seeing the kids every day and watching them hit their milestones.
Reanne has such a big heart — she treats every child like they’re her own… and she will happily argue that they are hers (haha).

We’re so grateful for Reanne’s warmth, humor, and the love she brings into our center each day. 💛🌼

Today we’re celebrating Christine Sayre, one of our wonderful assistant teachers here at A Simple Dimple Daycare!

Christine joined our team at the beginning of March, and she has already become such a bright, caring part of our classroom family. She is a proud graduate of Gahanna Lincoln High School and is currently working toward earning her CDCA, showing her dedication to growing in the mental health field.

Christine is a loving mom to two beautiful girls, and when she’s not in the classroom, you can usually find her enjoying the sunshine at the park, splashing at the pool, or spending time camping with her family.

What she loves most about her job is building bonds with the kids — the little moments, the big milestones, and everything in between. She looks forward to watching each child grow more and more every single day.

We are so grateful to have Christine’s kindness, patience, and warm heart in our center. 💛✨

One of the things Candice loves most about this work is building relationships and growing our village — creating a space where families feel supported, connected, and valued.

Who is feeling lucky today?! 🍀

We're celebrating Saint Patrick's Day as well as our two year anniversary today!! The kids got to play the parachute game, bingo, toss the leprechaun coins in the cauldron and most importantly got to celebrate outside with the first day of spring!! 🌸🌼

Today, we’re feeling especially grateful as we celebrate not only a fun and festive day with our little ones, but also two incredible years of growth, love, and community. What started as a small in-home daycare has blossomed into a full daycare center—and we couldn’t have done it without all of you.

To our amazing staff, devoted families, and supportive community—thank you for trusting us, believing in us, and growing with us. This journey has been both humbling and deeply rewarding, and we are so grateful for every child we’ve had the joy of caring for and every family who has been part of our story.

As we welcome the first day of spring, we’re reminded that growth takes time, care, and a whole lot of heart—and we’re so excited for all that’s still to come. 🌷

We’re coming up on our TWO YEAR anniversary next week!! 🥳🎉

Over the past two years we have grown, learned, and most importantly—LOVED. 💛

Childcare is not an easy job, and honestly it’s more than just a job… it’s a lifestyle. Every day looks different. Routines are made, adjusted, and sometimes changed again. When the weather is nice, lesson plans move outdoors and we adapt as the day unfolds. Some days are hard, some days are easier, but every single day is worth it in the eyes of a childcare provider.

Many people say childcare is a thankless job, but the truth is—it’s not. We are thanked every day, not just by parents but by the children themselves. Sometimes you just have to look between the lines. Hearing “I love you, teacher!”, getting that one more hug, being asked “Will you sit next to me?”, sharing exciting news, and being included in their milestones and little worlds… that’s all the thanks we need.

This job isn’t thankless—it’s fulfilling, and that’s something you can’t find just anywhere. ❤️

To celebrate our two year anniversary, we’ll also be celebrating St. Patrick’s Day at the daycare! ☘️
The day will be filled with crafts, games, and some fun goodies for the kids.

We’ll celebrate all of the hard times and good times that have brought us this far—and we’ll also celebrate all the wonderful things still to come.

Thank you to all the families who have trusted us, supported us, and grown with us over the past two years. We couldn’t have done it without you! 💚
