The history of Chancellor Avenue School dates back to 1784. It is actually the oldest standing Newark school.

Chancellor Avenue School ensures all students (leaders) the opportunity to succeed in ways that will allow them to choose their life’s path and desired occupation with an equitable opportunity to attend college. We will achieve this by implementing the CAS pillars that include fostering a school-wide college-going culture, focusing on 21st Century themes, skills, and applications, creating a motiv

ational and supportive environment, and modeling as well as developing the core values of respect, responsibility, reflection, and resiliency.

Bold designers with unlimited creativity showcasing some of the most daring fashions to grace a runway. It all happens at the Newark School of Fashion and Design (NSFD), with a curriculum powered by the Parsons School of Design. And now, NSFD and some of its students have been documented in a new reality TV series called “Newark Fashion Forward.” Episode 1 drops on October 1st at the link below.
