❤️❤️ Bittersweet Moments and New Beginnings ❤️❤️

Dear Staff, Parents and Families,

This is a bitter/ sweet moment to announce my RETIREMENT and CLOSING of The CHEN School, effective June 27, 2025.

It has been a great Honor and Pleasure to continue a Legacy, that was passed on to me by my mother, Trish Morris-Yamba (deceased), founder and first Director of The CHEN School in 1973.

It has also been a satisfying experience in Leadership, serving as Director (31 years) and providing Quality Child Care to the families and children of Essex County.

I would like to THANK The CHEN School Team, whose dedication and commitment has been Instrumental in maintaining and providing the BEST Early Childhood Experience.

Last, but definitely not least, THANK YOU, Parents, Families, and Generations of children that have passed through our doors, and supported The CHEN School, over the past 50 years.

However, it is time to close this chapter and explore other future endeavors.
