Who it suits: Project managers who lead projects and want the credential, and team leads preparing for formal project management roles. PMI requires 24 to 60 months of experience leading projects, depending on your education, within the past 10 years, plus 35 hours of project management training. An active CAPM credential covers the training hours.

What it covers: People: vision, conflict, team leadership, stakeholders, communication and knowledge transfer.

Process: planning, scope, value delivery, resources, procurement, finance, quality, schedule, status and closure.

Business Environment: governance, compliance, change, risk, continuous improvement, organizational change and external changes. AI and sustainability now appear in scenarios.

Why this format: Case based and situational questions reward judgment, and an instructor can explain why one answer is stronger than another.
