Exploring London through the lens of the African diaspora has been nothing short of powerful. From iconic landmarks rich with history to the vibrant, living culture found in neighborhoods across the city, every moment felt like a deeper connection to stories that deserve to be seen and heard.
One of the most meaningful experiences was visiting Brixton Village—a space full of culture, resilience, and community. Watching students make real connections between what they were learning and their own histories and lived experiences was unforgettable. You could see the spark—moments of recognition, pride, and curiosity all unfolding in real time.
Traveling abroad isn’t just about the destinations-it’s about expanding perspectives, building confidence, and creating memories that will last a lifetime. And in London, those connections felt especially alive. 🌍✨
