We seeks to bring transformative change on issues that relate to the criminal justice and prison systems in America through lectures, forums, panels, etc!

Our goals are:

To support and provide education and tools for all students and to bolster clinical and advocacy skills that can benefit people impacted by the systems and programs that serve this population. To strive to link the community of New York City residents especially those with experience or ties to the criminal justice system to the information and resources our school and this caucus

Labels carry stigmas and stereotypes. They allow us to acknowledge social, cultural, or physical differences between one another. Labels also inadvertently influence our perceptions of one another depending on the social significance of the label that is attributed to a person. .
