Please see a message from Miriam, the President of the Board of The MACA Foundation:
Dear MACA Community,
As we approach the end of Passover—a time that reminds us of resilience, courage, and the responsibility to stand up for our people—I am reaching out to you not just as President of the Board of MACA, but as a fellow parent who refuses to stand by while our students face hostility and isolation on campus.
What we are witnessing across college campuses is not slowing down. Jewish students continue to be targeted, silenced, and left to navigate an increasingly hostile environment—often without the protection or support they deserve. This is exactly why Elizabeth Rand created MACA.
And it is exactly why we must grow. Because when institutions fall short, we step in. We show up on campuses. We meet directly with university presidents and decision-makers to demand accountability and real change.
We bring in powerful speakers to stand beside our students—creating opportunities for civil discourse, truth, and education.
We provide a visible, unwavering support system for Jewish students and faculty who need to know they are not alone.
But the reality is this: we cannot do this without you.
As we launch our GoFundMe campaign immediately after Passover, I am asking each and every one of you to give what you can. No contribution is too small. Every dollar goes directly toward expanding our reaching into more campuses, more communities, and into the lives of more students who are depending on us.
This is how we fill the void.
This is how we grow.
This is how we protect our children.
We have already proven what is possible—through our chapters, our events, our advocacy, and our presence on the ground. Now we must take that momentum and scale it across the country.
Our students cannot wait.
And neither can we.
Please stand with us. Give what you can. Share our mission. Be part of the force that is changing the reality for Jewish students on campuses nationwide.
Together, we are not just responding to antisemitism, we are confronting it, educating against it, and building a future where our students can stand proud and strong.
With strength and gratitude,
Miriam Zivin

Our DFW Chapter hosted Dr. Naya Lekht who is amazing and flew to Dallas to have a conversation about the rise in Antisemitism in education. We held an in person event and zoomed for people who couldn’t be in person. Here's what happened. Just know what we're up against... Just to have a conversation.
