On January 11th I ventured south from my sanctuary on Vedder Mountain Road in Catskill to experience hearing Hilary Hahn play the Prokofiev Violin Concerto #1. Thrilling. I had heard her play years ago in Philadelphia and I had recently begun following her on Instagram, where she videos short clips of herself practicing - a series she entitles 100 days of practice (she is now on Season 7, Day 17). She is frightfully inspirational. Hillary Hahn. If you do not know of her, you should. So, 100 days of posted drawings, done the day of.
