Today we thank the ION Group for joining us this morning at P.S. 126 Jacob August Riis for a Tutor for a Day event! Our students traditionally receive virtual tutoring at this site so were incredibly excited to have in person tutors for a change. These extra sessions provide them with additional opportunities to make up missed sessions or receive additional support. (Of course they have a wonderful time too!) Thank you, ION Group for being a part of this meaningful experience.

At Reading Partners, we believe that reading is a civil right.

Our commitment to educational equity has remained steadfast for over 25 years and through vastly different administrations.

And that isn't going to change now.

We will always center students and chart a course for the future that prioritizes and champions literacy as a fundamental right and foundation for all learning.

Whether you are disappointed, pleased, or neutral about the national election results, the actions you take at the local level can have a tremendous impact on your community.

Together, we can uplift students and create a world where all children have the reading skills they need to reach their full potential.

Today, we’re celebrating our incredible marathon runners who have laced up their shoes and trained hard to run the TCS New York City Marathon this Sunday, Nov. 3! Through their dedication, they’ve not only conquered the race but also raised significant funds for Reading Partners NYC. Each dollar raised will help us combat the literacy crisis here in NYC, one student-tutor pair at a time.
