Campos Arts Brooklyn

Campos Arts Brooklyn Juan Morel Campos Secondary School in Brooklyn, New York is an arts focus school with programs in Visual and Performance Arts.

Visual Arts Education plays a key role in stimulating the development of the primary visual cortex, which is the part of our brain that processes visual information for understanding. Through immersion in visual arts, students gain a greater ability to see with clarity, and better understand the visual information in the world around us. At Campos, we guide students through the development of a vi

sual vocabulary for greater understanding, and self-expression, as well as supporting National Common Core Standards for Learning. Starting in the 6th grade, our Visual Arts program introduces students to materials, techniques, experimentation, and places an emphasis on how we see art. Performance Arts are a growing area of creative arts at Campos. In a short time our students have made great strides in community our reach, and competitive performances. We invite new students to grow and create with us.
