Feeling safe… or staying small?

There’s a fine line between the two.
We talk about feeling “safe” like it’s the goal… but sometimes it’s just fear wearing soft clothes.

In the healing space, we use the word safe a lot… maybe too much.
And while safety is important, it’s also become a word that protects our comfort more than our actual well-being.

Most of the time, our lives aren’t in danger… our comfort is.

Your nervous system learned to equate safety with control, perfection, or invisibility.

And while that once protected you, it now limits you.

What if the word “Safe” is stunting us… because real growth often feels unsafe.

Expansion can trigger every part of you that wants to protect.

But healing isn’t about staying safe…
It’s about teaching your body… and those younger parts of you still holding on…that expansion can be safe.

Through understanding and compassion, you start to rebuild trust within yourself…
and that trust becomes the bridge between fear and growth.

✨ Ready to move beyond “safe” and into self-led? Let’s work together.

What does self-love even mean???

Everyone talks about it, but few actually know what it looks like in real life.

It’s not instant, not always pretty, and definitely not a switch you just turn on.

I wrote about this in my latest blog:

The Truth About Self-Love (It’s Not What You Think).
You can read it on my website … link in bio

And if you’re ready to explore what real self-love looks like beyond the hashtags and hype… let’s work together.

The Calling of Midlife

Midlife isn’t just hot flashes and sleepless nights. It’s a part of you tapping you on the shoulder and saying: wake up, my love.

For many women, it starts with the body .. hormones raging, sleep slipping, anxiety and depression sneaking in. Add in divorce, job loss, the death of a parent, health issues, or the ache of an empty nest… and suddenly it feels like everything is falling apart.

But here’s the truth: these aren’t just problems to fix. They’re catalysts.

when old wounds, childhood patterns, and all the shoulds and shouldn’ts society put on us finally come crashing down.

The masks we’ve worn “good girl,” “pleaser,” “perfect daughter, wife, lover, mother” no longer fit.

It’s messy. It’s painful. But it’s also the moment you’re being called deeper.

When you stop reaching back for what no longer works, and start listening to the quiet voice within, something shifts.

Creativity flows. Gratitude deepens. Intuition sharpens. You feel more grounded, even when life throws its chaos your way.

This is the calling of midlife: not to break you, but to remake you into your truest self.

What I Learned About Grief

You cannot get rid of grief, my loves.
It doesn’t vanish, no matter how much we plead with it. Instead, it becomes a part of you… woven into the tapestry of your human experience.

Grief shifts and moves with your life.

Yes, you can grow, heal, and transform.

Yes, it’s powerful to uncover and shift the limiting beliefs grief may have planted in the unconscious.

But grief itself doesn’t disappear. It blends into your existence, coloring the way you move through the world.

We try to dismiss it with distractions. We try to numb it with substances, scroll it away on social media, or bury it under new love and people.

But grief does not leave. It lives within the fabric of life, patient, waiting. And sometimes, without warning, it shows up and hits you like a ton of bricks.

You go to therapy, you sit in ceremonies, you gather tools in hopes of banishing it. Yet grief is a shapeshifter.
Through the years, it takes new forms. Until one day… you realize it has become a part of who you are.

And strangely… that’s when it turns beautiful.

The tears…
they are a loving cleansing,
They wash over you gently,
allowing your sight of the world to become more vivid,
more tender,
more beautiful.
